ID : 49274
« back to classes page
Enjoy a fascinating encounter with our winged friends! Join other young birders to venture outside and hone your observation skills. Learn to identify birds in their natural habitats, how to tell different birds apart, and what makes each species unique. You’ll use technology like E-Bird and iNaturalist to track your bird knowledge, and examine birds up close with specimens and lab activities. On the last day, put all that knowledge to the test as you compete in the “Bird Bonanza Olympics.”  Please note: Participants in this class will be hiking short distances and spending time outdoors.
