Lighting for Photography, ages 11-14

In Photography, it's all about the light. Discover how to make your photographs stand out as you learn a variety of lighting techniques. As you explore, you will understand how to see and work with both natural and artificial light, how to find ‘good light’ and when to use your flash. Amaze yourself as you gain an appreciation for the importance of light in creating truly unique photographs. Class time will include an introduction to lighting gear, studio lighting demos and hands-on sessions with models to help you improve your picture taking skills. Please note: All students need to bring a digital camera with fully charged batteries and a compatible battery charger.
